Hours of Operation: The pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Swimming is allowed between the hours of 10:00am and 8pm every day of the week.
Safety Awareness: All users of the pool swim at their own risk. The pool does not have a Lifeguard on duty at any time. It is preferred that all authorized swimmers never swim alone, but rather in the presence of other authorized pool participants.
Emergencies: A telephone is available near the pool house, please dial 911 in the event of an emergency.
Children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Authorized Participants: The pool and pool area are for the exclusive use of Hamstead Crossing residents and their guests. Each resident is given two pool passes in the form of blue bracelets. Proof of pool membership may be requested by the pool supervisor or any HCHA Board Member. Anyone without a pass will be asked to leave. Only 2 guests allowed per household unless prior approval of the HOA Board. If you need a replacement pool pass, please contact the Pool Supervisor or use the Contact Us form.
Sanitary Measures: Showers are recommended before entering the pool; an outdoor shower is located next to the entrance of the pool house. No person having a disease of the eyes, ears, nose, throat, stomach, skin or any communicable disease shall be permitted in the pool. No person shall be permitted in the pool with bandages, open sores or wounds. It's important that all patrons avoid swimming in the pool when ill with diarrhea. Parents/caregivers must frequently check swim diapers and swim pants, every 30 to 60 minutes, to maintain a sanitary swimming environment. Swim diapers should be change away from the poolside (e.g., in the bathroom) to reduce the chance of fecal and germ contamination.
Glass Containers: Glass containers are NOT permitted in the pool area.
Alcohol: Alcoholic beverages of any kind are NOT allowed in the pool or the pool area.
Smoking: Please do not smoke in or around the pool area.
Personal Conduct: No running, pushing, wrestling, foul language or shouting shall be permitted in the pool area. All persons using the pool and pool area must be courteous to other participants.
Noise Levels: No radios, television sets, tape recording or playing devices. Only personal electronic devices with headphones shall be permitted in the pool area.
Trash: All trash shall be disposed of in trash bins.
Swimming Attire: Proper swimwear must be worn while in the swimming pool. Street clothing, jeans, or shoes are not allowed.
Diving: For your own safety, diving in the pool is not permitted at any time.
Animals: Animals, except service animals that have been trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability, are NOT allowed the pool, the pool area, or tied near the pool.
Weather: No one is allowed in water during any bad weather, especially during thunder or lightning storms.
Locked Gates: To insure the safety of our residents and to discourage trespassers, the entry gates to the pool area are locked after hours.
